Landing late at Barcelona Airport, staying on the Costa Brava
Many flights land at El Prat in the late evening, and delays push some past midnight. The coaches to the coast run on daytime timetables, so a late landing is where a booked transfer matters most.

The problem
Public transport ends before the last flights
The airport coaches to the Costa Brava keep daytime timetables, and the last departure of the evening leaves well before the last flights land. The trains from the airport do not reach the beach towns and stop at night too. If your flight is late, you are left at the terminal with your luggage and a long way to the coast.
The Aerobús into Barcelona does run around the clock, but from the city there is no way on to the coast until the morning. Check the operators’ current timetables if you plan to travel by public transport.
How a booked transfer works
Your flight is late, the driver is still there
- Give us the flight number when you book: we follow it in real time.
- If it lands late, the pick-up moves with it. You do not need to call us.
- Free waiting is 60 minutes from the actual landing, not from the timetable.
- The price is fixed when you book and does not go up at night.
- If your flight is cancelled or diverted, tell us as soon as you can and we reschedule, subject to availability.
At the other end
Arriving at your accommodation at night
Check with your hotel, apartment or campsite how they hand over keys late at night: many apartments use a key box or an access code, and many campsites close reception and the barrier in the evening. Give us the exact address and we drive you to the door, or to the nearest point allowed in old towns.
For the drive itself, nights are usually the quietest time on the roads: with clear motorways it is about 75 minutes to Lloret de Mar and around two hours to Begur or Roses.

What your price includes, and the rules in plain words
A fixed price, nothing hidden
The price you confirm includes the luggage you book, and it does not change with traffic. Only extras you ask for on the day, such as an extra stop or extra waiting, are agreed with the driver before setting off.

Free changes and cancellation
Free with 24 hours’ notice or more, with a full refund. Changes need at least 3 hours’ notice, or 8 hours at weekends, on public holidays and the day before them.
