The drive
Motorway to Figueres, then across to the bay
The route follows the motorway north almost to Figueres, then crosses the Empordà plain towards the sea, past Castelló d’Empúries. It is usually just over two hours from the airport. It is a straightforward drive; the slow part in summer is the last stretch into Roses on weekend evenings.
Empuriabrava is on the same road a few minutes before Roses, and it has its own fixed price in the widget. Choose it if your apartment is on the canals.

Roses centre and promenade
Hotels and apartments along the long beach of Roses and in the streets around the Citadel.
Santa Margarida
The residential area with its own small canals and marina, at the western end of the bay.
Canyelles and L’Almadrava
The coves east of the town, towards Cap de Creus, with hotels and houses on the hillsides.
Empuriabrava

While you are there
A citadel, a castle and the start of Cap de Creus
Roses has a star-shaped citadel with remains of the Greek and Roman town inside it, and the castle of La Trinitat above the bay. East of the town, the road ends and the coast of Cap de Creus begins, with coves you reach on foot or by boat.
In summer Roses lives outdoors: the seafront, the fishing harbour and the coves of Canyelles and L’Almadrava fill with families who come back year after year. Out of season it is a quiet town with many residents from northern Europe, and the transfer works the same in any month and at any hour.
Empuriabrava is known for its marina canals and for the skydiving centre on its airfield, and many visitors come for sailing and water sports. If you are carrying sports equipment, tell us when you book so we assign a vehicle with room for it.
Coach, train or private transfer
An honest comparison
There is no train to Roses. You can take the high-speed train from Barcelona to Figueres and then a bus, or a coach from Barcelona; both mean changes and timetables, and a walk at the end. A private transfer takes you from the terminal to your door in one go, and for a family or a group its price, per vehicle, is shared by everyone on board.

From Roses or Empuriabrava to Barcelona
We collect you at your hotel, apartment or house and drive you to the airport, the city centre, Sants Station or the cruise port. For a morning flight from Roses, pick-up is early: book it with the arrival and we will confirm the time with you.

What your price includes, and the rules in plain words
A fixed price, nothing hidden
The price you confirm includes tolls and the luggage you book, and it does not change with traffic. Only extras you ask for on the day, such as an extra stop or extra waiting, are agreed with the driver before setting off.
Meet and greet at arrivals
Your driver waits in the arrivals hall of Terminal 1 or Terminal 2 with a sign showing your name.
Flight tracking
We follow your flight in real time. If it lands early or late, the pick-up moves with it.
Free waiting time
60 minutes at the airport, 30 minutes at the cruise port or Sants Station, and 15 minutes at hotels and any other address.
Free changes and cancellation
Free with 24 hours’ notice or more, with a full refund. Changes need at least 3 hours’ notice, or 8 hours at weekends, on public holidays and the day before them.
Online payment and invoice
You pay securely online when you book, and you receive a VAT invoice in your name or your company’s name.
Child seats on request
Tell us the children’s ages when you book and the seats are fitted before pick-up, for a small supplement.
Up to 14 passengers per vehicle
From a saloon car to a 14-seat minibus. Larger groups travel in several vehicles that leave at the same time.
