The Vila Vella inside the walls is pedestrian. The coast roads from Lloret and Sant Feliu are short but full of bends, so with a minibus we usually come in by the inland road.

An easy town to drive in, with the promenade and monastery in the centre. Sant Pol and S’Agaró have narrow residential streets that a car or van reaches without problem.

The old quarter has camera-controlled access. We drop you at the edge of the Barri Vell, the closest point allowed to your accommodation.
Distances and clear-road times: route calculated on OpenStreetMap (OSRM) on 27 October 2026 from Barcelona Airport T1 and from the city centre (Girona and Figueres: transfer operators’ figures). The summer figure is what we plan with, not a measurement. There are no motorway tolls on the way: the AP-7 north, the C-32 and the C-33 have been toll-free since 1 September 2021. The price does not change with the time the drive takes.
The drive
About two hours, all on fast roads
Empuriabrava is about 165 km from El Prat. With clear roads the drive takes a little over two hours, up the motorway past Girona and Figueres and then across the plain of the Empordà to the bay. On a summer Friday afternoon we plan for around two and a half hours. There are no motorway tolls on the way, and the price, fixed when you book, does not change with traffic.

How much is it each?
A private transfer is priced per vehicle, not per seat, so the more of you travel, the less it costs each. Pick the town and how many you are: we ask the booking engine for the live price of the most economical vehicle that fits you, and divide it by the number of travellers.

Who stays here
Families, sailors and skydivers
Empuriabrava is popular with families who rent a villa for a week or two, with boat owners, and with skydivers: its drop zone is one of the best known in Europe. Big villa groups often need a minivan or a minibus; enter the real number of people and suitcases and the search box shows the vehicles that fit.
From here, Roses and Cadaqués are close by, and Figueres, with the Dalí Theatre-Museum, is about twenty minutes inland.

What your price includes, and the rules in plain words
A fixed price, nothing hidden
The price you confirm includes the luggage you book, and it does not change with traffic. Only extras you ask for on the day, such as an extra stop or extra waiting, are agreed with the driver before setting off.
Meet and greet at arrivals
Your driver waits in the arrivals hall of Terminal 1 or Terminal 2 with a sign showing your name.
Flight tracking
We follow your flight in real time. If it lands early or late, the pick-up moves with it.
Free waiting time
