The drive
Inland most of the way, then down to the sea
Sant Feliu is reached inland: motorway out of Barcelona, then the roads through the Selva and the Gavarres foothills, coming down to the coast at the end. It is usually just over an hour and a half from the airport. The cliff road from Tossa is spectacular, but it is slow, so we keep it for those who ask for it.
Because the last part of the drive avoids the coastal resorts, Sant Feliu is one of the more predictable towns to reach in summer. Weekend traffic still matters, and your driver will take the route that works best at the time you land.

A monastery, a summer festival and a greenway
The monastery of Sant Feliu, with its pre-Romanesque Porta Ferrada, gives its name to a music festival held every summer, one of the oldest in Catalonia. Concerts end late, and if you are coming from Barcelona just for one, a return transfer after the show saves you the drive.
Sant Feliu is also the end of the Carrilet greenway from Girona, a former railway line now used by cyclists and walkers. If you bring bicycles, tell us when you book: they travel as special luggage and not every vehicle can carry them.
Coach or private transfer
Why most people book the car
There is no train to Sant Feliu, and the coach from Barcelona takes longer than the drive and ends at the bus station. With luggage, children or a group, a private transfer from the terminal to your door is the simpler choice, and its price is per vehicle, shared by everyone on board.
