Costa Brava summer festivals: getting there from Barcelona

Every summer the Costa Brava fills with concerts in gardens, castles and by the sea. Most festival nights end late, far from the nearest station: here is when they are held and how we can get you there from Barcelona and back.

The festivals

The big summer festivals of the coast

Calella de Palafrugell · July–August

Cap Roig Festival

International pop, rock and jazz concerts in the botanical gardens of Cap Roig, above the sea. The 2026 edition ran from 3 July to 18 August. Choose Calella de Palafrugell in the search box.

Sant Feliu de Guíxols · July–August

Festival de la Porta Ferrada

Born in 1958, it is the oldest summer festival in Catalonia, with concerts and theatre in Sant Feliu. Choose Sant Feliu de Guíxols.

Peralada · July–August

Festival Castell de Peralada

Opera, dance and classical music in the gardens of Peralada castle, a few minutes from Figueres. Give the address when you book.

Blanes · late July

Blanes fireworks competition

An international fireworks competition over the bay, around the town’s summer festival. Busy nights in Blanes: we agree the pick-up point with you.

Dates

Check this year’s programme

The programmes and exact dates are announced by each festival in spring. Before you book a transfer, check the date and the start time of your concert on the festival’s official website, and if possible the expected end time.

Getting there and back

One trip there, one trip back

Concerts usually start in the evening and end late at night, when there is no public transport back to Barcelona. Book two trips: Barcelona to the festival town, and the festival town back to Barcelona at a time after the end of the concert. Both have a fixed price in the search box; choose Barcelona city as the start and the nearest town as the destination, and write the venue in the booking.

Free waiting at the pick-up point is 15 minutes. Concerts can overrun: set the return pick-up with a margin, and if the show ends later than planned, message us. If you are staying on the coast instead, see where to stay on the Costa Brava.

Groups

Going with friends or clients

For a group, one minivan or minibus there and back keeps everyone together and nobody has to drive after the concert. Up to 22 people travel in one vehicle; see group transfers. For a company invitation with several pick-up points, message us with the plan and we reply with a fixed price.

Before you book

What your price includes, and the rules in plain words

  • A fixed price, nothing hidden

The price you confirm includes the luggage you book, and it does not change with traffic. Only extras you ask for on the day, such as an extra stop or extra waiting, are agreed with the driver before setting off.

  • Meet and greet at arrivals

Your driver waits in the arrivals hall of Terminal 1 or Terminal 2 with a sign showing your name.

  • Flight tracking

We follow your flight in real time. If it lands early or late, the pick-up moves with it.

  • Free waiting time

60 minutes at the airport, 30 minutes at the cruise port or Sants Station, and 15 minutes at hotels and any other address.

  • Free changes and cancellation

Free with 24 hours’ notice or more, with a full refund. Changes need at least 3 hours’ notice, or 8 hours at weekends, on public holidays and the day before them.

  • Online payment and invoice

You pay securely online when you book, and you receive a VAT invoice in your name or your company’s name.

  • Child seats on request

Tell us the children’s ages when you book and the seats are fitted before pick-up, for a small supplement.

  • Up to 22 passengers per vehicle

From a saloon car to a 22-seat minibus. Larger groups travel in several vehicles that leave at the same time.
